The London Measure of Unplanned Pregnancy (LMUP)                

The LMUP in the USA
Dr Diane Morof, MD MSc, University of California, San Francisco, led the US evaluation of the LMUP in English and Spanish translation. Dr Morof and colleagues collected information from 346 women aged 15‐45 who presented to San Francisco General Hospital for termination of pregnancy or antenatal care. The LMUP was in self-completion format (the same as the original UK LMUP) and both language versions performed well in terms of their psychometric properties.

The US-English version of the LMUP contains only a small change from the original LMUP (the word “select” is substituted for the word “tick” in the instructions to respondents). The US-English and US-Spanish versions are available below:
